Ducted Gas Heating

Ducted Gas HouseDucted central heating is without a doubt the most effective way to heat your entire house. If you heat your entire home, you never have to walk out of a warm room into a cold one.

You can be watching TV while the kids are in bed, and everyone stays warm. Zoning enables you to divide your home into sections so living areas can be heated during the day and sleeping areas at night.

Duct JunctionDucted central heating comprises of a central heating unit, which is connected to a series of outlets. Positioned strategically throughout your home, these outlets, or ducts, are installed either in the floor or ceiling. Outside Unit

The location of the heating unit depends on the construction of your house. ControlsIf your house is built on a concrete slab, the furnace is installed in the ceiling space. If it has space underneath or a very low roof line, the furnace is installed outside or under the floor. The ductwork, which connects the outlets to the heating unit, is neatly tucked away out of sight. The location of the heating unit depends on construction of your house. If the house is built such that there is not sufficient room for at least the ductwork under the floor then the installation will have to be in the ceiling. If there IS sufficient space under the floor then the furnace may be installed either under the floor OR external to the building. The ductwork which connects the outlets to the furnace, in either case will be out of sight.
