SPLIT SYSTEMS – NOT DUCTED

Non-ducted split systems are available in many configurations;

DUCTED HEAT PUMP

If the area to be conditioned is greater than the capacity of a split system or you simply wish to have conditioning in more than just one or two rooms with an even temperature, then the ducted system is for you. A ducted system is unobtrusive and very quiet. The compressor unit is installed outside the home. The indoor unit is usually located in the ceiling or under the floor with flexible ductwork distributing conditioned air through vents located throughout your home.

DUCTED GAS HEATING

Ducted central heating comprises of a gas fired furnace, which is connected via externally insulated flexible ducting to a number of outlets located throughout your home, these outlets and ducts are installed either in the floor or in the ceiling.

DUCTED COOLING ONLY

Cooling may be either by a refrigeration system OR by evaporative cooling.

VRV = variable refrigerant

VRV systems are intended for VERY LARGE HOMES and COMMERCIAL installations.

A “VRV” system can be designed to suit almost any capacity requirement.

The system may be;

HEAT PUMP SYSTEM ;

Either heats or cools in all areas.

HEAT RECLAIM HEAT PUMP SYSTEM ;

Is able to heat in some areas while cooling in other areas at the same.
