The Air-conditioning Centre was established in Canberra in 1981, by Bob Ross and Frank Wolf. We felt that there was room in the Canberra air-conditioning industry for a company offering professional service but still maintaining the personal touch.

With the advent of natural gas in Canberra, the company was one of the pioneers of ducted “GAS” heating installations and it was felt that the name should be changed to The AIRCONDITIONING and Heating Centre to reflect the increased involvement in the heating industry. Frank Wolf is still involved on a day to day basis in the management of the business, and devotes most of his time to the design and implementation of commercial installations.

AIRCONDITIONING and Heating Centre's aim is to provide unbiased professional advice, and offer obligation free in-home quotation to tailor the most suitable and cost effective approach to each individual heating and/or cooling requirement. The company has carried out many thousands of domestic installations and commercial air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation projects.

Equipment suppliers are selected on the basis of:

Heating and Cooling performance of the equipment during the extreme local conditions.
Reliability of the product (with proven track record).
Service support provided by the Manufacturer.
Spare parts availability during AND after the warranty period.
